Welcome! Each day during the month of October I am writing on the topic of discovering true beauty. Please join in with me on this journey. Also, please feel free to share these posts during the month of October with family and friends on the many social media outlets. I appreciate you taking the time to do so.
There is nothing more beautiful here on Earth than that of human life. Human life is sacred and holy and precious. Life is to be lived out and can only be regarded in sanctity if it is held in the highest regards by humanity.
Going all the way back to the very beginning of time as we humans know it, we find Holy Scripture in Genesis 2:7 that says “Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.
The word life is mentioned over 565 times in the Bible. If the mention of the word life is covered in such extensiveness, shouldn’t we also regard life in the same manner that our author regards it? God sees life as something remarkably beautiful. I have to admit, I fully agree with Him. Life is beautiful.
One of the most recent demonstrations of life being truly beautiful, was the arrival of our newest family member. On September 26th my beautiful sister gave birth to her firstborn child. Both Mom and Dad were surprised that he ended up arriving six weeks early, as was the rest of the family. Who would have thought that he would arrive so early? They named him Rush and boy did he rush his little way into this world.
Rush has blessed our family immensely just by being born. His arrival, even though earlier than expected has made all of our lives beautiful. We cannot express enough the breath of fresh air he has brought into our family. His life has brought us all so much joy. All you have to do is look at him and you can’t help but to praise God for the amazing gift He has given us.
Rush is evidence to all of us that life is sacred. God has both a plan and a purpose for this little guy and we all know it without even having to voice it out loud. We anticipate wonderful things for this little blessing. He couldn’t have come at a better time then when he did. He’s our Autumn baby.
No matter what circumstances we humans face, we know that life is beautiful and it is meant to be lived. Every now and then, the Lord sends us little reminders like Rush to help us remember He authors extraordinary stories. I can’t wait to see how God uses this little guy throughout his lifetime. He already has used Rush to help our family see that we don’t get to choose when life happens. The author writes the story, we just follow along, read what He writes, all while making sure to enjoy the beauty He has created life to be.
Over the Moon for Rush and for the Beauty of Human Life
