Welcome! Each day during the month of October I am writing on the topic of discovering true beauty. Please join in with me on this journey. Also, please feel free to share these posts during the month of October with family and friends on the many social media outlets. I appreciate you taking the time to do so.
This morning I woke up feeling like the tiny flower in the picture below with several of it’s petals missing. There comes a time when we all have to admit that sometimes we have days where we just aren’t ourselves and where we experience the blahs that comes about from living through this imperfect life. Today is one of those days.

Assuredly though, we don’t have to stay down in the pit of blahs for long. Romans 8:38-39 reminds us that no matter how we are feeling, God loves us anyway. There is nothing that can separate us from His love. No feeling, no height, no depth, no created thing, no power, nor life or death. We can rest in knowing that He has done great things for us and that He loves us immensely.
Who else do you know that loves like that? At our worst, He still loves us. There is truly something beautiful in knowing that at my absolute lowest, He finds me worthy and beautiful anyway. The Lord didn’t cause my blahs, but He still loves me through them and despite of them. I am thankful and needed to read these verses this morning.
Tomorrow is a new day. Good thing that we don’t base Christ’s love for us on how we feel, rather we stick to what He tells us in His Word. Now that is BEAUTIFUL!

About the Artist: Lindsey Keith is a 16 year old Junior who LOVES God, her family, dance, Art and horses. Lindsey can be found doing the typical teenage stuff like volunteering or babysitting when she is not creating beautiful Art. She volunteers at church and a therapeutic horse ranch. She is honored to have achieved being on the California Scholarship Federation each semester of her high school career and has received straight A’s during her schooling adventures. Lindsey’s goal at this point in her life is to receive scholarships to be able to attend a Christian University after graduating High School. Her talent on loan from God is exuberant in extraordinary ways. I absolutely love that she finds time to create beauty right where she is. Way to go Lindsey!
